Just noticed that I’ve written a new tutorial a few weeks ago, but never published it. 
Well anyway, I present you today the FLVPlayback enhancement yeh I know very descriptive name I’ve chosen.
Basically you learn how to extend the FLVPlayback component to be able to click on the timeline / seekbar of it and scrub through the movie. This only applies if you using your own skin, otherwise FLVPlayback skins already have that functionality at least from CS3 on
