Flash: Bitrate calculator

Robert Reinhardt, a fellow Community Expert and Author, just released a new tool called “FLV Bitrate Calculator”.
Funny though I had the same idea, a few weeks ago but didn’t managed to start working on it.. maybe I’ll create an AIR app :)

Anyway, Robert did a great job and if you have time to test it out do so.
You can find the calculator on Robert’s blog: http://blogs.flashsupport.com/robert/?p=138

  1. Thanks for posting about the calculator, Tiago. You stole my punch line–I was planning on an AIR app for the “save project file” feature so that it didn’t need server-side magic to produce the saveable xml content. Since we’re in the heat of Flash conference season, I probably won’t get around to making an AIR version for a few weeks if not longer.

  2. Hey Robert,
No problem, I really like the tool and some of the guys at the company I work for are already using it :)

I don’t think I will manage to get an AIR version ready by this or next month, conference season started and I have a bunch of work to do for the company, as well winter is coming and I hope that Switzerland will sink in snow so I can snowboard again :)

Are you going to be at MAX?
