Lee Brimelow the owner of gotoandlearn.com and theflashblog.com just published a new extension which will help you generate the event code for movieclips on the stage. Since Actionscript 3, you can’t just add a movieclip and use the old (on(press)..) method.
You need to create EventListeners, those are not hard to understand but it takes you a lot of time to write them down for every single effect like mouseover, click, doublelick and so on.
Lee’s extension enables you to select the movieclip check all the needed events, copy to clipboard and from there paste it on the actionscript panel. very cool and a huge improvement on the workflow.
