Hi Arun, there are ways to hide the mysql credentials in flex/flash so that no decompiler can break the code. ex. create a separate swf file that holds the connection data and load it to your main app in binary mode.

Hi all,
asSQL is a great flexi assembler to connect with mySQL from the AIR apps. When i googling through many sites i came to know using of asSql for web application is completely not a secure one, if we decompile the swf then we can easily capture the MySQL password. so do you want to ruin your database…..
